About this event
On the morning of Friday, September 19th, the marchers with the We Are America March bringing the Constitution from Philadelphia to Washington, D.C. will be marching down 16th St. NW and passing the Rock Creek Ball Field near 16th and Kennedy Sts. NW at about 9AM. LWVDC will be welcoming the marchers with D.C. Statehood buttons to wear as they head for the Welcome Rally at the Mall. Please join our welcome committee by 8:30am at 16th and Kennedy St., west side. Anne Anderson will be there with League aprons and tons of buttons to hand out.
