Volunteers Needed: Anacostia High School Family Day
About this event
“Grill & Grow: A Feeder School Family Day" is an event open to all families from Anacostia High feeder schools. This event is focused on connecting K-12 families with food, fun, and community resources for a stronger tomorrow. The event is June 12th from 4-6pm at Anacostia High School (1601 16th Street SE). The LWVDC will have a table at the event and volunteers will be providing families with voter registration opportunities and our usual nonpartisan voter education information/resources. The event itself will feature: • Free BBQ & Refreshments • Music, Games & Family Activities • Community Resource Tables • School Info for K–12 Families • Raffles, Giveaways & More!
