Georgetown Univ. Climate Crisis Town Hall with 2020 Presidential candidates

  • Gaston Hall, Healy Hall, Georgetown University 37th St NW and O St NW Washington, DC (map)

The Institute of Politics and Public Service (GU Politics) at Georgetown's McCourt School is teaming up with Our Daily Planet, an independent environmental news organization, to host a Climate Crisis Town Hall with 2020 Presidential candidates this September!

This two-day town-hall style forum will provide all declared candidates from both parties with the opportunity to discuss their vision for addressing and limiting the effects of climate change. Candidates will then take questions from climate journalists and from students at Georgetown and other DC-area universities, as well as from other partner universities across the country. The town hall events will take place on Georgetown University’s main campus on Tuesday and Wednesday, September 17th and 18th. Details forthcoming.

As always, stay tuned on social media at @GUPolitics for more updates as we get closer to the events!
