Youth Summit on Suffrage: Voter Registration

On Tuesday, May 21, the Smithsonian Museum of American History and several local museums nationwide will be hosting an annual National Youth Summit focused on the topic of suffrage. The events will take place simultaneously across the country from 1-2pm EDT and will bring together middle and high school students from your community.

They are hoping that members from LWVDC could be made available from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (with setup between 9:30 – 10 a.m.) in Flag Hall on the Mall level of the museum (2nd floor) to register young voters from across the country.

Parking: Volunteers should expect parking to be very limited in this area.
