Private Docent Tour: National Archives: Rightfully Hers Suffrage Exhibit

  • National Archives (Special Events Entrance) 700 Pennsylvania Ave NW Washington, DC 20408 United States (map)

We will have a private tour of two areas of the Archives. This early morning offering, before it opens to the public and the crowds arrive, will give us a special opportunity to explore the exhibit. We will start with the Charters of Freedom in the Rotunda and then see the newly opened exhibit on suffrage: Rightfully Hers: American Women and the Vote.

Rightfully Hers: American Women and the Vote: from the Archives: To mark the 100th  anniversary of that constitutional victory for women, the exhibition Rightfully Hers: American Women and the Vote explores the dynamic involvement of diverse suffragists in securing women’s voting rights.

Please join us by 8:50am at the Special Events entrance to the National Archives on Constitution near 7th street.

There is a limit of 24 guests for this tour. RSVPs provided after May 1, 2019 are not guaranteed attendance, but we are hoping to fill as many spaces as possible.
