Voter Registration at the 20th Anniversary of the African American Civil War Museum

Volunteers Wanted.

We will be registering voters on Living History Day at the African American Civil War Museum.

Living History Day for Family and Friends Storytellers, Re-enactors, will include Health Screenings, Voter Registration, Musical and Dance Performances, Refreshments, Face Painting, Arts and Crafts, and much more

Getting There: The museum is located at 1925 Vermont Ave, NW Washington DC, directly across the street from the African American Civil War Memorial, located at 1th and U Streets, NW Washington DC. The use of public transportation, including taxis, is recommended. The nearest metro stop to the museum is the green/yellow line, Ust/African American Civil War Memorial Cardozo stop. Exit the metro station at 10th and Ust NW. For bus route information please visit Washington Metro Transit website.

What to Wear: Our voter registration drives are nonpartisan - please do not wear anything (t-shirts, buttons, tote bags) that supports any candidate or party, or advocates for any political issues.
