We will be registering voters on Living History Day at the African American Civil War Museum.
Living History Day for Family and Friends Storytellers, Re-enactors, will include Health Screenings, Voter Registration, Musical and Dance Performances, Refreshments, Face Painting, Arts and Crafts, and much more
Getting There: The museum is located at 1925 Vermont Ave, NW Washington DC, directly across the street from the African American Civil War Memorial, located at 1th and U Streets, NW Washington DC. The use of public transportation, including taxis, is recommended. The nearest metro stop to the museum is the green/yellow line, Ust/African American Civil War Memorial Cardozo stop. What to Wear: Our voter registration drives are nonpartisan - please do not wear anything (t-shirts, buttons, tote bags) that supports any candidate or party, or advocates for any political issues.
