As a part of both our advocacy and education work, we partner with a wide variety of nonprofit organizations in our community. We are members of the following coalitions and work closely with them on a wide variety of advocacy and educational issues within the community.
The Fair Budget Coalition advocates for budget and public policy initiatives that address poverty and human needs in the District of Columbia. The Fair Budget Coalition accomplishes these goals by leveraging the collective power of its member organizations, including working with social service providers to empower those directly affected by poverty to participate in the advocacy process.
The DC Fair Elections Coalition's mission is to pass meaningful campaign finance reform in DC to empower everyday residents and make sure every voice is heard in our democracy.
The Put A Price On It D.C. Coalition is comprised of environmental and justice advocacy organizations, faith groups, unions, consumer advocacy organizations, D.C. businesses in support of establishing a carbon fee-and-rebate policy in the District of Columbia.
The coalition is a combination of national and local partners working with DC Vote to promote DC voting rights and local autonomy. Both the League of Women Voters of the United States and the League of Women Voters of the District of Columbia are members of the DC Voting Rights Coalition.
CNHED leads nonprofit community development organizations in ensuring that residents with low and moderate incomes have housing and economic opportunities in neighborhoods throughout the District of Columbia.
